Worship

Worship

Our services are at 10.00 am each week and usually follow the pattern below. Children are welcome in the Church and activities are provided for them.

1st Sunday in the month: Pray-e-ze We all worship together and the children are involved. There is a Service of Holy Communion at 6.00 pm (March till October).

2nd and 4th Sundays in the month: Holy Communion.

3rd Sunday in the month: Morning Worship.

If there is a 5th Sunday in the month: it may be Morning Worship or Holy Communion.

Before the service begins there is a time of preparation for the service. It is usually a known song but sometimes we learn new songs. Please feel free to join the Music Group in singing or just listening. Worship tends to be informal and relaxed.

Prayer

Prayer is at the heart of the church. Every week, names may be entered into the prayer book for individual prayer in the intercessions and there is the opportunity for healing prayer after some services. Outside of services, there are various opportunities - on Wednesday mornings there is a prayer time at 9.00am. There are two house groups which meet fortnightly for fellowship and a time of Bible study and prayer. Derek and Dawn's group meets on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays starting at 8:00pm and Mel and Mary's group meets on 1st and 3rd Mondays starting at 7:30pm

There is a monthly prayer diary that is circulated to members to allow for more focused prayer.
